All application information is submitted and managed through a single, secure web platform. Our solution provides a dashboard where all applications and permits can be viewed, managed and tracked so the applicant and railroad always know current status – dramatically improving communication and reducing permit cycle friction.
REDUCED CYCLE TIMES AND COST TO THE RAILROAD FOR PERMIT REVIEW
Crossing location is captured via online mapping and a draft exhibit is created. A draft permit application is generated automatically based on applicant submitted data. The interface allows for easy, online payment of application and permit fees.
INCREASED QUALITY OF PERMIT REVIEW
We have built our Spec Checker function into this solution, which reviews applicant submitted information about the crossing, compares it against AREMA and railroad requirements and automatically flags non-compliance to the applicant and the railroad.
IMPROVED VISIBILITY OF PERMIT STATUS
Applicant and railroad access the same data, forms, permit documents and exhibits. Both can see the current status of the review process, which steps are finished and which remain - improving communication and collaboration.
