Kanza Fire Industrial Park

Challenge

GO Topeka, an economic development organization, needed site investigations for three locations being considered for the development of a leading industrial and technology park.

In addition, it needed platting, zoning and stakeholder engagement during construction.

Solution

Once the site was selected, Bartlett & West completed the annexation, platting and zoning for the first phase of the park that included many public hearings to gain approval from the City and County governing bodies. Bartlett & West performed the construction administration for the water and sewer project, in addition to construction observation and platting easements for all utility improvements, present and future.
