Bartlett & West and Civil Associates, Inc. join forces
Bartlett & West and Civil Associates, Inc. (CAI) are uniting. Both firms point to complementary capabilities, cultures and relationships as reasons for the decision. Bartlett & West is a 100-percent employee-owned engineering, construction and technology solutions firm with offices throughout the Midwest and approximately 320 employees. CAI is a North Texas-based, environmental planning and transportation engineering firm with about 30 employees.
“CAI allows us to expand the skill sets we offer clients and our presence in Texas, but just as importantly CAI has a strong team and work culture that complements Bartlett & West,” said Bartlett & West CEO Keith Warta.
“By moving forward together, we’re better together. CAI will remain squarely focused on our valued client relationships, but also gain some benefits such as employee-ownership and corporate support,” added Naser Abusaad, CAI President.
Warta and Abusaad said CAI’s leadership and location will remain the same. “We respect the talents and expertise of CAI’s employees,” Warta said. “Therefore, we plan to move slowly as we consider how this collaboration will bring value to clients.”
