Keegan Richards recognized by Prairie Business

Bismarck, N.D. – Bartlett & West’s Keegan Richards was recognized by Prairie Business on their annual 40 Under 40 list, which profiles young professionals in the region under the age of 40.

Richards is a project manager and licensed professional engineer in the regional water group at Bartlett & West. Since joining the company in 2010 after earning his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology, he has advanced his career with a focus on water infrastructure projects. Keegan leads Bartlett & West’s initiatives with the Spirit Lake Tribe and supports various water clients throughout North Dakota and South Dakota.

Richards is an active volunteer and engaged in professional associations. He has been part of Brave the Shave, helping the Bartlett & West Baldies team raise more than $50,000 since 2013 to support North Dakota families facing childhood cancer. He has participated in United Way events, Discover Engineering events, and the Great Plains Food Bank Packathon 2024.

Additionally, he has recently completed the American Council of Engineering Companies North Dakota Professional Development Series and has contributed to various professional organizations, including the North Dakota Rural Water Systems Association, the North Dakota Section of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the Bismarck-Mandan Young Professionals Network. Richards is an Officer in North Dakota Society of Professional Engineers Chapter 3 (NDSPE). During the fall he launches pumpkins at Papa’s Pumpkin Patch where he volunteers through NDSPE.
